What you’ll actually do:
  • Teach private and semi-private swim lessons at homes and apartment complex pools - no crowded rec-centre energy.
  • Make water safety feel fun, not scary, for kids and adults alike.
  • Be the instructor families talk about for years (no pressure, but also… it’s not that hard when you actually love it).

You’ll need:
  • Previous experience in swim teaching or coaching.
  • An actual passion for the water and helping people learn.
  • Reliable transport - you’ll need to get yourself there.

Certifications required (the non-negotiables — must be current):
  • AUSTSWIM, Swim Australia, or Royal Life Saving Society swim teacher accreditation.
  • HLTAID011 - First Aid.
  • HLTAID009 - CPR.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC) for your state or territory.
