What you’ll actually do:

Teach private and semi-private swim lessons at homes and apartment complex pools - no crowded rec-centre energy.
Make water safety feel fun, not scary, for kids and adults alike.
Be the instructor families talk about for years (no pressure, but also… it’s not that hard when you actually love it).

You’ll need:

Previous experience in swim teaching or coaching.
An actual passion for the water and helping people learn.
Reliable transport - you’ll need to get yourself there.

Certifications required (the non-negotiables — must be current):

AUSTSWIM, Swim Australia, or Royal Life Saving Society swim teacher accreditation.
HLTAID011 - First Aid.
HLTAID009 - CPR.
Working With Children Check (WWCC) for your state or territory.
